The Delaunay is owned by The Wolseley Hospitality Group and located in Holborn, inspired by the grand cafes of Mittel-Europe. Like all the restaurant group’s venues, The Delaunay offers glamour and luxury in spades and the private dining room at this well-established venue is no different. Steeped in the glamour of 1920s Europe, the space is guaranteed to add a magical touch to any occasion held here.
The private dining room is located on a raised level above the restaurant, but with views across the main dining area so guests can still enjoy the venue’s infectious buzz. It's flooded with plenty of natural light making it a great spot for breakfast and brunch meetings, while in the evening the room’s dark wood panelling, brass fixtures, marble counters and original paintings create a cosy yet decadent space to enjoy its fantastic food and drink.
With a capacity of up to 24 guests for larger celebrations or meetings, the room can also be divided into two slightly smaller sections for flexible hire options. You might want to hire just the Corner Room for 10 guests, for example, or the Kean Room for up to 16 guests. The private dining room can be booked for breakfast, lunch or dinner and a dedicated events team will help you manage every detail of your event to ensure it's truly memorable. Do note that while The Delaunay doesn’t ask for a hire charge for the room, there is a minimum spend with every booking.
The menu incorporates both classic dishes and house favourites – from stroganoff to apple strudel – and are designed by head chef Christian Turner. He only uses the finest seasonal produce and it changes regularly throughout the year to reflect this. Whether you opt for a set menu or the a la carte offering, there is also a curated selection of fine wines and champagnes available, as well as a bespoke pairing option, to enjoy alongside your meal.
