With sweeping views of the Thames and a front-row seat to Hammersmith Bridge, Sam’s Riverside is a refined yet relaxed spot for private dining in West London. Tucked beside Riverside Studios and set just across the bridge from leafy Barnes, this contemporary Anglo-French restaurant blends stylish interiors, warm hospitality, and a riverside location that’s hard to beat.
Sam’s Private Dining Room offers an intimate space just off the main restaurant, accommodating up to 18 guests. With large windows framing the river and an atmosphere that’s both polished and personal, it’s ideal for all kinds of occasions - from celebratory lunches and milestone dinners to boardroom meetings and training sessions with a better-than-average view. For slightly smaller groups (up to 10), the main dining room offers a similar buzz and exceptional à la carte dining without the need for private hire.
For private dining parties of 11 or more, two bespoke three-course menus are available. Sample menus might include delights like parmesan churros, Devon crab toasts, and classic puddings, all designed to showcase the kitchen’s confident take on seasonal, modern European cooking. Guests are invited to personalise their experience, whether that’s adding a welcome glass of Gusbourne or a homemade cake to mark the occasion.
Minimum spend varies by day and time - adjusted for lunch early in the week, as well as Friday and Saturday night dinners. While a discretionary service charge is added, it’s not included in the minimum. For larger events, Sam’s Riverside is also available for exclusive hire. The restaurant can host up to 80 guests for a seated event, or 150 for a canapés-and-cocktails affair. With elegant interiors, exceptional service, and riverside charm in spades, it’s a standout setting for weddings, birthday parties, or corporate functions that need a little wow factor.
Whether you’re celebrating, impressing clients, or simply gathering good people around great food, Sam’s Riverside delivers private dining with soul and style.
