Perched on the north side of Hyde Park, just by Lancaster Gate tube station, Royal Lancaster London offers a wealth of private dining spaces that combine grandeur with flexibility and excellent service. With capacity to host everything from intimate dinners to grand celebrations for up to 1,500 guests, this venue is ideal for private dining occasions of all kinds, be it a family event or gala dinner.
At the top of the portfolio is the Nine Kings Suite: a pillar-free ballroom, flooded with natural light by day and transformed by dazzling chandeliers by night. A dramatic foyer and private entrance add to its elegance, while liftable dividing walls offer adaptability. It can accommodate up to 1,150 guests for seated dinner functions.
Complementing this is the Westbourne Suite, with space for up to 1,000 seated guests and a world of technical finesse at your fingertips. It features LED lighting, ceiling sparkle lights, a state-of-the-art Bose audio system and generous off-street access, making it ideal for large private dining events or gala dinners of several hundred guests.
For more intimate settings, the hotel’s Forest Suites (Beech, Cedar, Oak, Willow, Chestnut and Boardroom) offer stylish, well-lit rooms perfect for smaller private dinners, business meals or family celebrations, ranging from a few guests up to a couple of hundred. The Chestnut Suite is particularly well suited to intimate dinners, with a private kitchen that ensures top-level service and enough space to host 30 guests around a long table. Smaller still is the Senses Room for eight guests, offering a fine dining experience for an intimate group.
It’s also possible to hire the hotel’s in-house Thai restaurant, Nipa Thai, for special celebrations centred around vibrant southeast Asian dining.
All Royal Lancaster’s rooms are flexible and customisable, with multiple seating arrangements on offer depending on the style of your event. If you’d like to dress the space with decorations, simply speak to the team who will be able to advise.
