Since opening in spring 2023, Nessa has been the one to watch. With a fantastic location on the edge of Soho, modern British restaurant Nessa boasts the perfect location for private diners and celebrations. The interiors alone will have you and your gang drooling - starting with the playful, pistachio-hued, striped awning out front. Inside, it's all rich tones, layered textures and contemporary but timeless touches, that make for stylish backdrop to any get-together.
While up to eight guests are welcome to dine in the main restaurant, groups of between nine to fourteen should take over the feasting table which sits within the hustle and bustle but has a fabulous spot underneath the skylight and opposite the open kitchen. From here, you'll all be together around one table, cosied up on a stunning, pale pink banquette, while soaking up the buzz and atmosphere of the chefs hard at work.
Nessa's menu specialises in high-quality, seasonal British produce, focused on finding the best ingredients from around the UK. For groups of nine or more, let us show you to the feasting menu, which includes a selection of signatures and highlights from the menu, designed to share.
While the feasting menu changes with the seasons, at the moment, you'll find starters of along the lines of rolled oat soda bread with cultured butter, and the signature brioche toast with pork and sage stuffing and chestnut sauce (this brioche toast stays on the menu, with stuffings changing with the seasons). Main courses lean towards hearty fare with dishes like lamb rump, grilled little gem and peas in mustard sauce, and Cornish cod with Jersey Royals and parsley sauce. Make sure you save room for Nessa's signature Viennessa - an ode to the classic ice cream dessert, made with sponge, ice cream and Chantilly.
