A well-established events venue in London, Fishmongers' Hall offers private dining with beautiful views that cast out over London Bridge and the River Thames. The venue is historic in its nature, but did undergo a refurbishment in 2018, giving it a bit of a refresh. Found in the City of London, this venue is the hub of the Fishmongers' Company, and continues to play a key role in supporting the fishing industry with a variety of initiatives and resources.
But if you're not in the fishing world, fear not, you can still host your event here. With a number of event spaces and a picture-perfect setting, The Fishmongers' Hall has several spaces that are suitable for private dining. So if you're hosting an anniversary dinner, baby shower brunch or corporate buffet, you know where to look.
There are four historic event spaces to choose from, including The Banqueting Hall which has space for 350 guests, and a smaller more intimate space, The Court Drawing Room, which can be paired up with the adjoining Court Dining Room. Perfect for more laid-back events, seating up to 25, The Court Room comes with beautiful views across the river, with its own large terrace where you can enjoy al fresco nibbles and drinks. This space is decorated with art illustrating the continued relationship between the Company, London Bridge and the River, and you’ll also see various incarnations of the original Billingsgate Market, including a piece by artist George Elgar Hicks in 1861, which depicts a scene of early morning trading.
Whichever room you decide on for your private dining experience at Fishmongers’ Hall, it’s bound to be impressive. Just imagine sharing a meal in a grand soaring room with luxurious quintessentially English styling.
