About

Each of Dishoom's cafes have a different look and feel, inspired by eras across Bombay's cultural history. At Dishoom Canary Wharf, the space is reimagined as the Bombay Stock Exchange in 1973, where a glamorous cafe has opened up and is tempting workers with its stylish design and exciting sense of promise.

The space is characterised by double-height ceilings and a mezzanine walkway, creating a lofty, airy feel. The colour scheme is a mix of rich plums, pinks and greens, with acid-hued armchairs to draw the eye. With seating across lounge areas, tables and bar stools, it's very much a relaxed, cafe environment but still special enough for bringing people together.

While Dishoom Canary Wharf is usually considered walk-in, the team are happy to take reservations for bookings of six or more people. There's also the opportunity to take over a mix of semi-private spaces to really create that party atmosphere. Up to 32 guests can be catered for along one side of the restaurant, where you can enjoy its eclectic decor. For slightly larger get-togethers of 54 to 60 guests, The Back Room offers a retro aesthetic with mustard banquettes, silver-legged chairs and a collection of rounded tables.

And, to make life a little easier, Dishoom have pre-prepared a group dining menu which can be enjoyed family style, with dishes coming out as they're ready. To start, enjoy street food-style bites such as keema pau which is a rich, minced meat curry served with buttered bread rolls, as well as okra fries and bhel, which mixes crunchy onions and puffed rice with tomatoes and potatoes.

For mains, there's options across vegetarian and vegan dishes such as house black daal, Awadhi jackfruit biryani and gunpowder potatoes, as well as sheekh kebab, chicken Ruby and chicken berry Britannia. For dessert, get stuck into kulfi, which is a rich, creamy, frozen lollipop with flavourings such as pistachio, malai and mango.
