Whether you’re planning a business lunch, milestone birthday, anniversary or family celebration, Browns Leeds offers three distinctive private dining spaces designed to make every occasion feel special. With flexible menus, tailored drinks packages and elegant surroundings, each event can be personalised to suit your guests.
The venue offers three characterful spaces to choose from. The largest Private Dining Room seats up to 20 guests around a single banquet table, where high ceilings, polished timber floors and original wood panelling create a sophisticated setting for everything from corporate dinners to celebratory meals. For more intimate occasions, the Manager’s Office Private Dining Room accommodates up to 12 guests, pairing historic architectural details with large windows, globe lighting and an elegant oval dining table that encourages conversation. Groups of up to 14 can opt for The Heavens, a stylish semi-private mezzanine space overlooking the restaurant, where a marble banquet table, mustard-yellow leather seating and deep blue walls provide a contemporary contrast to the building’s period character.
Dining can be tailored to suit every occasion, whether you’re looking for elegant canapes, a relaxed buffet or a multi-course feast. Canapes include mushroom vol-au-vents, burrata with peach and rosemary crostini, and lamb skewers with salsa verde, while seated menus feature dishes such as Devon crab on toast and baked scallops to start, followed by pan-seared duck breast or Isle of Wight aubergine with miso glaze. Buffet options include Isle of Wight tomato crostini, crispy calamari with aioli and smoked haddock croquettes, while desserts such as sticky toffee pudding, tiramisu and chocolate tart provide a memorable finish.
Beyond the private rooms themselves, guests can enjoy the grandeur of Browns’ beautifully restored former banking hall, where original period features sit alongside polished contemporary interiors. Drinks packages can be tailored to suit the occasion too, with options ranging from Champagne to wine, beer, cider, cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks and specialty coffees.
