Brickendon Grange Golf Club offers private dining with two smart spaces, a capacity of up to 200 people, surrounding views of stunning greenery and an accesible location for those looking for a venue in Hertfordshire.
Set within 160 acres of mature Hertfordshire countryside, just five miles outside the M25, the private members’ club and golf complex combines the privacy of a rural setting with straightforward access from London by road or via Great Northern rail links to Moorgate.
For an important client lunch, board dinner or milestone birthday, the Oak Room is the standout option. The original oak-panelled dining room of the club’s 19th-century manor house, it seats up to 32 guests and has lovely traditional details that make meals instantly feel special, from the grand chandelier and historic panelling to a large fireplace.
Larger gatherings can move into the Grange Suite, Brickendon Grange Golf Club's signature space, which seats up to 132 and holds 200 for standing soirees. Opened following a major clubhouse redevelopment, it has a contemporary feel, its own bar, restrooms, projector, in-house PA, LED mood lighting, dance floor and a private wraparound terrace. The real draw, though, is the view: think 180-degree panoramic vistas across the golf course and surrounding countryside.
Food can be tailored around the event. Canapés include smoked salmon blinis, mini prawn cocktails, beef in Yorkshire pudding with horseradish cream, duck in plum sauce wrapped in herby crêpes and minted lamb kofta. For something more substantial, the buffet selection can include honey-roast ham with apple chutney, medium-rare roast rib of beef with horseradish crème fraîche, smoked salmon with prawn Marie Rose, chargrilled vegetables, Caprese salad, arrabbiata pasta salad and hot minted new potatoes, followed by a choice of desserts.
And, on top of all that, practicalities are well covered too, with ample free parking, free Wi-Fi and an experienced events coordinator on hand to help everything run smoothly.
