Thornton Hall is a hotel and spa in the Wirral, surrounded by acres of quiet countryside and boasting an enormous range of facilities, from a variety of beautiful guest rooms to a spa, leisure club, a choice of in-house restaurants and a variety of rooms and suites available for private hire. The hotel regularly caters for both private and corporate events, with multiple large and small rooms available for anything from team building and away days to private parties, Christmas parties, training days and more.
Thornton Hall is particularly popular as a team building retreat, and the team can organise a huge range of activities depending on what you might want, whether that be last team standing competitions designed around games and puzzles, fun workshops (like cocktail or chocolate making, for example), or practical games like archery, air rifle shooting or even duck herding!
Available rooms vary from a series of cosy meeting and conference rooms, all the way up to the Torintone Suite, which can accommodate up to 650 delegates in a theatre-style setup, but can also be set up for anything from private dinners to standing receptions and networking events. This room also has a lovely breakout area - The Orangery - which makes an ideal space for coffee breaks and lunch.
The Cristal Suite is another large-scale function space, boasting lots of natural light as well as a series of glamorous chandeliers overhead. Though not quite the size of the Torintone Suite, the Cristal Suite is still more than big enough for up to 200 guests, and has its own verandah, which opens out onto the terrace and gardens.
Outdoor events are also popular in the summer here - Thornton Hall’s Garden Pagoda is a unique al fresco space that can host intimate private dinners and celebrations in the sunshine.
