The Pelham is a five-star hotel housed in a beautiful, historic townhouse on one of South Kensington's most idyllic streets. Just moments away from the luxury shopping destination Harrods, cultural institutions such as the V&A and Natural History Museum and, of course, brilliant transport links thanks to South Kensington and Knightsbridge tube stations. With all this and more, The Pelham is the perfectly-located spot for hosting an important event.
The style of the hotel pays homeage to its classic surroundings with an artistic flair. Here, antique furniture and imposing portaits are mixed with colourful upholstery and modern art. It's a comfortable but stylish setting, with lots to take in.
There are plenty of options for hosting your event at The Pelham. The main restaurant, La Trattoria by Alfredo Russo, is a fabulous space with bold paintings and a red colour scheme, complemented by an authentic Italian menu. Use the restaurant as your base and either book out a large table or take over the space.
Alternatively, you might like to host an intimate supper for your nearest and dearest. There are three private dining rooms which are most suited to this kind of thing, with a variety of capacities, spanning 10 to 40 people. Both the Drawing Room and the Library are grand spaces with wooden panelled walls, plush furnishings and marble fireplaces, making for an impressive backdrop for a get together. Either hold drinks and canapes in these social spaces, or ask for circular tables to be arranged for a sit-down meal.
Gallery One and Gallery Two are light, open spaces with huge windows and pops of colour. These work well for a sit down meal, a cosy gathering using just the sofas and chairs, or even a work meeting. You are welcome to reconfigure the space however you see fit. Then, The Private Dining Room is a beautiful option with striped wallpaper and stand-out floral curtains, which as the name suggests, works wonderfully for a special dinner.
