Isn't London full of surprises? Hidden within the historic streets of St James you'll find Six Park Place, the home of the Royal Over-Seas League established back in 1901 as a not-for-profit private members’ club which works to maintain international relationships across the globe.
Nowadays, the club is more than happy for its beautiful rooms to be used for events and gatherings, making it one of the most exquisite venues in central London. From weddings and corporate events to parties and awards ceremonies, the team are well equipped to deal with it all and help bring your vision to life.
There are nine indoor spaces ready to host you, each one brimming with its own unique character and charm. While we can't walk you through each one here, there are some highlights which shouldn't be missed. For an intimate dinner of just ten people, The Park Room offers something special with its rounded shape which is dominated by a huge bay window, flooding the space with light. Walls are covered in pretty, floral wallpaper and sapphire blue, velvet dining chairs set an elegant tone.
For a larger event, the Wrench Room is terribly grand, boasting spectacular architecture, a magnificent glass lantern sky light and a storied past. Here, 24 can be catered for on round seperate tables, or 30 in theatre-style seating. And, if really looking to throw a big bash, the Hall of India and Pakistan offers enough room for 120 and gained its name from the original floor to ceiling silver-grey wood panelled walls which were presented by the Indian Government in 1937.
If organising your gathering in the summer months, you might want to take advantage of the outdoors space, a pretty garden at the back of the property which, with its rose arch and woodland, is a picture-perfect spot.
