Pillar Hall at Olympia offers a striking setting for venue hire in West London, combining historic architecture with flexible event spaces suited to large-scale celebrations, corporate functions and private parties. Housed within a Grade II listed building, the venue brings together restaurants, bars and event spaces beneath one roof, allowing organisers to host a wide variety of occasions.
The main event space is Upstairs at Pillar Hall, a dramatic double-height hall featuring a spectacular mezzanine level that runs around the room. Decorative pillars, moulded ceilings and a balcony overlooking the main floor give the space a grand, theatrical feel, while the open layout allows organisers to tailor the room to suit different formats.
The hall can host up to 350 guests for seated events or 550 standing. It can be arranged for everything from seated dinners and drinks receptions to conferences, live music performances or DJ-led parties. A stage and audio equipment are available, making the venue suitable for award ceremonies, corporate events, weddings, anniversary celebrations and large social gatherings. The space can also be used as a filming or photography location.
Events can also be hosted at the in-house restaurant Idalia, a modern British eatery located on the ground floor. The kitchen is led by chefs Samantha Williams and Lorena Tommasi, who create seasonal menus using produce sourced from trusted British suppliers. The restaurant’s approach blends British ingredients with European and Asian influences, making it well suited to food-led events, private dinners or hospitality experiences connected to larger functions.
For more relaxed gatherings or post-event drinks, guests can also make use of Pepperbird, a speakeasy-style cocktail bar tucked beneath Pillar Hall. Inspired by Olympia’s jazz and rock heritage of the 1960s and 70s, the space provides a more intimate setting for drinks, receptions or after-parties.
