City institution Paris Grill is a restaurant and bar which has been entertaining the Square Mile workforce since 1978. The space also doubles up as an event venue for hire, able to accommodate all manner of personal or corporate celebrations, ranging from business lunches to birthday parties.
Despite being around for more than three decades now, Paris Grill manages to feel traditional but never tired - a major refit in recent years has given the restaurant a more modern feel. The vibe here is definitely relaxed enough for casual breakfast and lunch meetings, but business isn’t barred as projectors and screens can be set up. Drinks receptions and private dinners are also an option: expect the likes of roast rack of Cornish lamb, with King Edward potato croquette, sweet onion mousse and roasted Mediterranean vegetables, followed by apple tart tatin with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream for pudding.
Paris Grill has two dedicated event spaces available for hire. The first is Bardot’s Bar, a more casual space at the venue which can welcome up to 40 guests for a sit-down meal or up to 80 for a standing drinks and canape reception. Bardot’s features wood-panelled walls and French prints and posters dotted around the space, as well as a dedicated bar running along one side of the room - it is a great space to host parties and more casual gatherings.
The second event space at Paris Grill is its main dining room, which can accommodate up to 120 seated guests, or up to 250 standing. The dining room is a stylish and classic French space that doesn’t fall victim to cliche - expect gorgeous chandeliers, red leather banquette seating and plenty of mirrors which bounce light around the space.
Upstairs, a new gin bar with live music is just the ticket for post-dinner drinks.
