One Moorgate Place is a distinguished Grade II listed venue in the heart of the City, combining historic grandeur with all the makings for contemporary events. Home to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, the building dates back to the late 19th century. Today, it retains that impressive sense of heritage thanks to remarkable architectural detailing and ornate interiors.
The venue offers a diverse range of spaces suited to a variety of event styles and occasions. At its centre is the Great Hall, an Art Deco-inspired space capable of hosting up to 450 guests for standing receptions, 200 for banquets, or 270 in theatre style, making it ideal for large conferences, award ceremonies and gala dinners alike. The Auditorium and adjoining Atrium provide a purpose-built environment for presentations and lectures, with 107-person tiered seating and integrated audiovisual capabilities to support conferences and hybrid events.
For more intimate occasions, spaces such as the Main Reception Room and Members’ Room showcase the venue’s historic character. The Main Reception Room features a domed ceiling, chandeliers and stained glass, while the Members’ Room is notable for its distinctive bridge inspired by Venice’s Rialto, creating a memorable backdrop for private dining, drinks receptions or board meetings. Smaller rooms, including the Small Reception Room and a range of meeting rooms, cater for boardroom discussions, training sessions and breakout spaces, accommodating groups from just a handful up to around 70 guests.
Across the venue, modern facilities are integrated with heritage surroundings, including high speed connectivity and in house AV support, ensuring suitability for corporate events, exhibitions and product launches. Events at One Moorgate Place also benefit from meeting packages and a whole host of delicious catering options, from breakfast and brunch to working lunches, reception packages, afternoon tea, snacks and refreshments, and seated banquet dinners.
