Looking for a warm and atmospheric spot to host your next event in Brighton? Mowgli is a hugely popular Indian street food restaurant home to charming decor, vibrant menus and a wealth of private spaces for celebrations and events.
The concept was originally created by Nisha Katona who wanted to recreate the feeling of when she'd host guests around her own kitchen table. The warm, attractive interiors have become synonymous with the brand: think triple-height ceilings, rattan light fixtures, a wood-panelled bar, and a huge tree dressed in fairylights in the centre of the main dining room.
When it comes to events, options include private dining, semi-private hire and exclusive use. Whether you’re planning a blowout birthday bash or a work get-together that's full of good times and great food, Mowgli Brighton has you covered.
To make everything that little bit easier, Mowgli Brighton has devised a selection of set feasting menus for guests to choose from beforehand, ensuring dining runs smoothly on the day. The feasting menu starts with a glass of fizz and nibbles such as yoghurt chaat bombs, before moving on to smaller plates of street food like flavour-packed Gunpowder chicken poppers, marinated in ginger, garlic and garam masala, then golden fried in a light chickpea batter. Indulgent hits include the Himalayan cheese toast, done the Indian way with melting mature cheddar, red onion and green chilli, served with a spiced Indian pickle.
Mains take the form of two-tier curry Tiffin boxes with options like 'pot luck' meat and veg roulette, all vegetable or vegan, served with homemade cumin rice. Finally, an ice cream cone with options like vanilla, coconut or mango sorbet finish things off nicely.
