About MBER

Located in the City of London, MBER boasts a stylish restaurant space for hire for your next event complete with its central location and excellent transport links. Whether you're planning a milestone birthday party, a wedding anniversary or a corporate networking event, this versatile spot offers relaxed interiors and plush seating combined with a delightful menu of pan-Asian cuisine.

MBER is housed on London's infamous Pudding Lane, and pays homage to the city's history, having first opened its doors on the 350th anniversary of the Great Fire of London. Here, interiors have been designed by Ross McNally, with charcoal columns, sleek copper lighting and vibrant red leather seats that run across the length of the restaurant.

Two private dining spaces are on offer here, allowing for parties of five in The Retreat or up to 20 in The Cellar Bar. These spots are ideal if you're planning a smaller and more intimate event with just your nearest and dearest. For larger affairs, be sure to get in touch with the venue about combining spaces and hosting your event in the main restaurant area.

Menus here are designed to be shared, with tapas style small plates that make for excellent grazing options for your event. Order a vast selection of dishes for your group and allow everyone to pick and choose to their heart's content. Dishes here include the likes of soft shell crab tempura served with mango and mint ketchup, wagyu beef and foie gras burgers or even roasted hoisin duck bao with blue agave sriracha. Vegan and vegetarian options are also available meaning that there's really something for everyone.

Extensive lists of signature cocktails, wines and sake are all available, and sure to keep the party going. The best part? MBER is licensed to serve alcohol until 2am for your private hire event, so you can keep the party going late into the evening.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know as soon as possible. If you cancel more than 48hrs before your booking, your deposit will be refunded in full. If you cancel less than 48hrs before your booking, your full deposit will be retained. For pre-authorised cards, if you cancel less than 48hrs before your booking £15 per person may be charged on the card provided. For parties of 11 people and above, MBER will require at least 72 hours notice for a full deposit refund. During November, December and Special Events If you cancel 72 hours before your booking, your deposit will be refunded in full. If you cancel less than 72 hours before your booking, your full deposit may be retained. The above also applies if you want to reschedule your booking to another date. You will be able to reschedule but the policy cancellation will apply to the first reservation made. Reservations of 14 to 16 people made between 6pm to 8pm MBER requires a minimum spend of £1,600. Reservations of 11 to 13 people made between 6pm to 8pm MBER requires a minimum spned of £1,200.

I booked MBER for a post board meeting lunch for our investors and board members on a Wednesday in April. The communication to get everything booked to start with was extremely efficient; very quick email replies, friendly tone, and happy to speak to the chefs and cater for our dietary requirements. The service by all staff throughout the lunch was top notch; very professional, friendly, quick and informative. The food itself was absolutely delicious and we couldn't fault it. The entrance is barely noticeable from the street, at first I thought the place wasn't even open. The restaurant is located on the basement level, so it has a rather dark atmosphere, but it really fits the spirit of the place. The dishes are tapas-sized, so you can taste a lot of food. The prices are very high in comparison. The flavor is Asian but in a reimagined form. The vegetarian selection is remarkably large. There is also a large selection of special cocktails. There is a smaller separate room for holding events.

First time here for a business dinner. Soooo good! Unique and cozy atmosphere, delicious small bites shared by the entire table. We shared salmon sashimi, Inari tofu tempura pockets, chicken satay, jasmine rice, Korean BBQ cauliflower, onion pakora loaf, Thai massaman curry and much more. The depth of flavor for all the options was spectacular and each has some form of texture to keep the dishes interesting and delightful. Definitely on my revisit list the next time I'm in London.

We had a team night out and everything was so good that I forgot to take pictures of the food. It is an interesting concept- kind of Asian tapas, you get served a succession of pan Asian food. Everything was very tasty and portions are good enough to fill that you ate enough. Cocktails are also large in variety and tasty! Would recommend!

Visited MBER for a team dinner. We enjoyed most of the food, and it wasn’t too expensive compared to other places in the area. Our seating felt private, and the music wasn’t too loud to have conversations across the table. Very exciting cocktails. Loved the Aubergine dish and the Sticky toffee pudding the most.
