Malmaison Liverpool

A rare example of a purpose-built Malmaison hotel, the boutique chain’s 11-storey Liverpool outpost is in the city’s docklands, close to the Liver building and with fine views of the Mersey running into the sea. Amid 130 plush bedrooms, on the mezzanine floor there are four event spaces, separated by partition walls that are easily removed for big occasions. Whatever combination you choose, there will be natural daylight, flatscreen TVs and snappy Wi-Fi. In Mals 1, 2 and 3, floor-to-ceiling windows give a light and airy feel. Book them out in conjunction with the champagne bar and there’s space for up to 120, including a break-out terrace.
