Lympstone Manor is an historic Grade II listed Georgian manor house, creatively and comprehensively transformed into a contemporary country house hotel.

Lympstone Manor is a luxury five star country hotel in Devon overlooking the tranquillity of the Exe Estuary and the Jurassic Coast. The hotel is a proud member of relais and chateaux and has 21 luxurious guestrooms and suites, acclaimed Michelin Star fine dining cuisine by Michael Caines, a world-class wine cellar a and 28 acres of grounds with a 11 acre Vineyard.

Exclusive Use: 

For a truly exceptional experience, Lympstone Manor can be hired exclusively for your special day. This exclusive and very special place can be yours alone to enjoy with family and friends for any occasion or alternatively for those hosting corporate events.  From 3pm on the day of check in to 11am the day of departure, all of our 21 luxury bedrooms, three dining rooms, bar, lounge, terrace and gardens are at your full disposal, to be enjoyed by you and your guests.

For all other occasion, from family celebrations, to corporate away days, the house can be exclusively yours to enjoy. With extensive parkland and an excellent location, we can organise an array of activities, from water sports to clay pigeon shooting, corporate team building to wellbeing retreats.

Michael Caines MBE, chef/patron of Lympstone Manor, is one of Britain’s most popular and well-known chefs. The holder of two Michelin stars for 18 consecutive years, he is now delighted to have been awarded a Michelin star for Lympstone Manor just six months after opening. Over the past 22 years Michael has gained a global reputation for his distinctive modern European cuisine utilising the finest local and regional produce and ingredients. Michael, has appeared regularly on television, on programs such as BBC 1 Saturday Kitchen, Master chef, Sunday Brunch, The Great British Menu, nd amongst numerous accolades, cooked in 10 Downing Street for the Prime Minister, received an MBE in 2006 for services to the hospitality industry, and was awarded AA Chef’s Chef of the Year in 2007.

Mamhead provides the perfect space for an array of different occasions, it’s grey walls adorned with seasonal artwork gives the room a modern and cosy feeling. Whether it be a small family gathering or a corporate business lunch, you can enjoy your sit-down meal in the privacy of your own dining room. Mamhead can also be transformed into a private meeting space with conference facilities, including mirror cast TV technology.  Up to 18 guests can be seated across 3 tables, or up to 12 guests on one larger table.

Taking its name from the outreaching views Lympstone Manor has over Haldon and Mamhead. Mamhead is an elegant dining room, from a table for two to a table for 12 this room gives an intimate setting for any experience. The room oozes luxury from champagne coloured chairs to taupe curtains, a unique art deco ceiling and candle effect Chandelier, the room is also one of the main rooms to feature our Fine Art @ exhibition, changing throughout the year to showcase our monthly artists.

Berryhead is the largest of all three dining rooms. Our stunning chandelier reflects off the mirror wall and our soft blue furnishings brings the colours of the estuary inside, giving the room a bright, airy and relaxed feel. Great for larger groups, Berryhead can sit up to 46 guests across 6 round tables.

Berryhead is light, airy and graceful setting in which to enjoy Michael’s luxurious and modern cuisine. Named after the extraordinary view from Lympstone Manor, with clear views down the coast and across Lyme Bay, the eye is drawn to Berry Head, a significant headland on the South Devon coast. With sweeping drapes, crystal chandelier and cool tones the room is an elegant an graceful setting in which to dine in.

For those looking for a bigger celebration, a marquee can be erected on the grounds as an extension to the house, providing a perfect amount of additional space for up to 300 guests to host either a dinner and dance, a wedding reception or large dining event. We are able to source marquees with clear span walls, allowing our stunning view of the Exe estuary to be the perfect backdrop to your evening.
