Limin is a restaurant, bar and events space that brings a slice of the Caribbean to London’s South Bank. Comprising both indoor and outdoor spaces, as well as a host of tasty Caribbean-inspired plates and rum cocktails, this venue is sure to bring plenty of good vibes to your event.
There are four main spaces available for private hire, and they are available to hire individually, or in combinations for larger groups. Whole venue hire is also available for those larger parties or corporate events. The Gallery is the venue's largest offering, with space for up to 100 seated or 135 standing, and looks directly out onto the buzzy comings and goings of Gabriel's Wharf. Here, guests can sink their toes into the sandy decking, take a seat under an umbrella and sip on a cocktail or slushie.
The Island is an enclosed alfresco space able to hold 50 seated guests, or 60 standing, and is decorated with colourful fairy lights. Or, there's the heated and covered Terrace - perfect for those planning an outdoor event, without having to worry about the weather if the heavens open!
Inside, discover the Bar for relaxed drinks receptions. Here, you’ll find Limin’s expert bartenders mixing up an array of cocktails, some using its very own Limin Rum. Last but not least, the Urban Jungle is a light, airy, chilled-out space, with a DJ booth for those who're planning some live music at their event.
The menus are created by chef-owner Sham Mahabir, who hails from Trinidad and Tobago, and shares his love for the region via an array of exciting dishes. Look out for traditional Trinidadian 'doubles', Sham’s unique take on pani puri, the amazing 'Trini Puri', the iconic 'Island Fish & Chips', jerk chicken, masala fries and much more.
When it comes to the drinks, cocktails, slushies and shots are the name of the game, although there are also wines, beers and ciders to enjoy, alongside fabulous 'no and low' beverages. Cocktails include classics such as Long Island Iced Tea and Daquiri, or opt for one of Limin's signatures like the Limin Rum Punch made with Limin Rum, mango, passion fruit, grenadine, angostura bitters and lime, or the SHAMgria - a delightful twist on a classic sangria, named after Limin’s founder and chef Sham Mahabir.
