Fish Market is a fish and seafood restaurant, just minutes walk from Liverpool Street station in the heart of East London. You'll find the restaurant in the Old Bengal Warehouse - a restored 18th century warehouse that once belonged to the East India Company. With high ceilings and lots of large windows, the restaurant's former life as a warehouse results in a space that feels bright, airy and spacious.
As you might guess from the name, Fish Market specialises in bringing the very best of British fish and seafood right into the heart of London. As well as serving up a cracking menu of classic British cooking, the restaurant also accomodates private events. All in all, Fish Market has capacity for around 120 standing guests, making it a wonderful space for private celebrations and gatherings, as well as corporate parties and events. As well as the spacious main restaurant, Fish Market also has an outdoor terrace that functions as a popular sun trap in the summer, and a lovely al fresco haven in the winter when retractable cover and portable heaters come out.
All this combines makes Fish Market great for events - the space is ultra-flexible, and has it's own bar too, so it's just as well-equipped for drinks events as it is for private dining. If you'd like your event catered for, Fish Market can do that too, with a selection of easy going set menus available. Dishes include the likes of smoked salmon, creme fraiche and rye bread, day boat fish with spinach and seaweed butter, and sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream. Whether you have a proper meal or a selection of canapes in mind, the events team at Fish Market are on hand to help tailor your event to suit your needs.
