About Fingal Hotel

Formerly a Northern Lighthouse Board Ship, Fingal Hotel is Scotland’s first floating boutique hotel. This magnificent venue is certainly unique and is suitable for all types of events, from lavish gala dinners to private business meetings. With a dedicated in-house events team with over 100 years’ of combined industry experience, every detail will be carefully catered for, so you can relax knowing you are in good hands.

The jewel in Fingal's crown is undoubtedly the stunning Ballroom, an opulent space boasting a double height ceiling, retractable skylight and two sweeping curved staircases leading to the Minstrels’ Gallery, the ideal spot for music and entertainment. Up to 60 guests can be seated in the Ballroom for a meal, or 100 standing for a drinks’ reception.

Smaller parties might opt for the Bridge; formerly the ship's command centre, this intimate space can seat up to 10 guests and affords waterfront views, nautical details and a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a private meal. If you’re planning a grand affair, exclusive hire could be right for you, allowing access to all areas for a truly unforgettable event. Enjoy Champagne and canapes on one of the outdoor decks as you watch the sunset, an excellent photo opportunity, then retreat indoors to the Ballroom or Lighthouse restaurant and enjoy a sumptuous meal.

The head chef on board the Fingal will be happy to curate a bespoke menu to suit your occasion, making use of Scotland’s natural larder to provide you and your guests with a taste of the best quality local produce, executed to the highest level of fine dining. To accompany your meal, the sommelier is on hand to recommend Champagne and wines from the extensive international selection, including various organic bottles.

After your event, why not arrange to stay overnight in one of the 23 luxury cabins, furnished with nautical detailing, fine linens and porthole windows? For a particularly special occasion, opt for the Skerryvore Suite, a glamorous space boasting its own private deck, living area and ensuite with a free standing bath.
