Crug Glâs is a historic, country house venue in Pembrokeshire and the perfect place to host all manner of celebrations. From weddings and Christmas parties, to birthdays and corporate dinners, the team here can do it all. Within the main house you'll find two private dining rooms; the first with capacity for 12 people and the second with enough space for 20.
If you pictured a cocktails and canapes-style gathering, take a look at the drawing room with a lounge-like feel and boasts its own bar, which really gets the party going. In fact, you could take over the entire place, offering your guests a really luxurious experience, from dinner to drinks. And, if you imagined a really huge party or multi-day event, speak to the team about taking over their rustic, converted barn, usually reserved for weddings, too.
All catering is provided in house and as per the venue's ethos, menus are focused on spotlighting the best of local produce with fish, meat and vegetables from the rivers and fields surrounding Crug Glâs. While this means that dishes are always changing, there are some sample menus available online. However, you already have an idea of what you'd like, the team are also really happy to work with you on a bespoke menu.
As for some of their already well-heeled favourites, we like the sound of starters such as pigeon breast in red wine sauce alongside wild mushrooms in truffle oil. Across main courses, there's always plenty of choice for vegetarians, meat eaters and pescatarians, including the likes of mushroom wellington with crushed new potatoes, and fillet steak with triple cooked chips, plus seabass fillet on roasted red peppers, heritage tomatoes and red pesto with garlic potatoes. Desserts tend to be homely and authentic, like apple crumble or sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream.
