Located in the centre of the city on the first floor of Union Square shopping centre, Cineworld Union Square is Aberdeen’s newest and largest cinema, comprising 10 screens with capacities ranging from 169 up to 326 people. In addition, there are 13 restaurants and a hotel nearby, making it convenient for travelling delegates. The venue works well for private film screenings (3D or 2D) and conferences, as well as live screenings of sporting events, opera and theatre and, increasingly, interactive gaming events. All 10 screens would make a great setting for a product launch or event requiring PowerPoint presentations (with plug-and-play connectivity). The venue has a licensed bar that can hold up to 200 delegates and Union Square is served by a large car park and good transport links, with a train and bus station connected to the city centre.
