If you haven't made it to Aqua Nueva yourself, we're sure you'll know someone who has. Since 2009, this iconic restaurant has been sitting pretty in Regent's Street, positioned on the top floor of the former Dickens & Jones building just seconds from Oxford Circus tube station.
Its mysterious entrance, which starts with a moody lift ride, opens up to a design-led restaurant, gleaming in a rich, terracotta hue. A low, arched ceiling, rounded, leather booths and ambient lighting all create an intimate, cocooning feel, perfect for private functions.
The team are well versed in event production and have been welcoming private dining bookings for years. Over its time, Aqua Nueva has hosted everything from premiere parties and networking events, to product launches and birthday parties. The space has a fantastic capacity with enough room for 170 people seated and 400 people standing.
Catering is provided in house and the team are proud to offer authentic Spanish food in a sharing style. Once your venue is booked, you'll be invited for a free food tasting and be given the opportunity to chat through all of your options. The team also recommend checking out bowl food and canapes which can be a cost effective and easily distributed option for large scale events.
The kinds of dishes you can expect include Iberico ham with tomato and crystal bread, alongside avocado, crispy corn and bitter leaf salad, as well as seafood rice with grilled tiger prawns. While canapes might look like cod ceviche, deep-fried spiced chicken and spring onion, or wild mushroom rice with truffle aioli.
With such a huge venue, there's bags of opportunity to put your own spin on it and the team have a list of suppliers to help you decorate and bring atmosphere. From DJs and florists, to bespoke branding specialists and lighting, they've got plenty of advice to optimise the space.
