The site itself is beautiful - you'll no doubt be tempted to take a few snaps on arrival thanks to the striped awning and historic, cream-toned facade. Inside, the character of the building is contrasted with cool, sleek decor but not in an industrial way. Soft woods, large windows and sculptural lighting make The Italian Greyhound just as gorgeous a place to get a drink and a bit in summer, as it does in the depths of December, when the ambience is really turns up.
The team are fully equipped to host private dining, events and Christmas parties, off the main restaurant floor and across their exclusive spaces. The Garden Room is perfect for this: a light, airy, open space with a warm colour palette and loads of natural light, it's a beautiful place to host an end-of-year party. Here, you can organise a 50-person seated dinner, or if you prefer a cocktails and canapes affair, the team can cater for up to 100 people standing.
For a more intimate group, take over the bar area. It means you can stay in the buzz of the restaurant but still have your own space nicely carved out just for your gang. Work with the team on a drinks offer, selection of cocktails, champagne on arrival. Finally, for really big shindigs, there's entire venue takeovers. You can have the entire restaurant for 100 people seated or 200 standing. Sounds like quite the party, right?
In terms of menu, the team have lots of options from a feasting menu enjoyed family style, to cananpes and cicchetti. Menus change and often respond to the season, so we don't have the Christmas offering for you just yet, but do check the website.
