Roman-pizza restaurant Mike’s Peckham in South East London offers three spaces available for private hire. Although it might have earned a reputation for its 48-hour fermented sourdough pizzas, Mike’s Peckham are offering two Christmas menus that feature many of the ingredients used for its regular pizza toppings.
The first menu features the likes of crispy sprouts with pickled red onions and crispy breadcrumbs, roast dry aged pork with sage and orange soffritto and spiced apple cake with clotted cream custard. While the second menu includes a few additional options, including oak roasted lamb, lamb pancetta and celeriac choucroute and charred purple sprouting broccoli with brown butter sauce. Guests can add seasonal extras if they wish, including beer chocolate, sea salt and olive oil or Dauphinoise potatoes for the table.
Guests can hire out the entire restaurant space for up to 45 people, or up to 64 people if you’re planning a standing event. Depending on whether it’s a sit-down dinner or more casual affair, modular tables mean the seating can be arranged to suit the occasion at hand. While a main bar, unisex toilets and a separate music system are all included with the space. Plug in your own device for guests to listen to a playlist created by you, or let the team take the lead who are happy to provide the music as usual.
There’s also the option to hire out the year-round outdoor terrace area which includes total rain cover and infra-red heating. The wooden-decking and tables create a rustic feel while the semi-translucent covering ensures it’s well-lit during the day. It’s a great space come rain or shine and can be hired for up to 60 people seated, or 80 standing. The area also includes a separate music system, a service bar and unisex toilets, perfect for large groups for buffet style service and drinks.
