Located at Hotel Xenia in Kensington, Italian fine dining restaurant La Terrazza’s private spaces are perfect for Christmas parties of all sizes and styles, whether you’re planning an intimate dinner for eight or a lavish cocktail reception for 60. There are three private rooms to choose from, each offering their own distinctive design and character. Of course, you can expect an array of Christmas menus centred around classic Italian cooking, along with celebratory drinks to toast to the season.
La Cantina is its largest private space, with the option to seat 30 around one large single table, or 60 for a standing event. Navy tones are contrasted with floral patterned wallpaper and wooden floors to create an eclectic but cosy feel. For smaller groups, Bohemia is an intimate space able to accommodate up to 12 seated guests. It features quirky wallpaper, red curtains and stylish furnishings, and would work well for a Christmas lunch with family or colleagues. Finally, the Living Wall Bar is a hidden lush oasis perfect for drinks receptions or private festive parties designed to wow. This room also features a well-stocked cigar collection, perfect for pairing with one of the restaurant’s premium whiskys.
There are two set Christmas menus to choose from at different price points, ensuring there’s an option for every budget. Examples of dishes you can expect to try include marinated wild salmon with star anise, dill and crunchy fennel to start, followed by Mediterranean stone bass in a pistachio crust with spinach and a black truffle sauce. To finish, look out for classic Italian sweets such as pandoro with tiramisu cream and pumpkin and ricotta cheese souffle with raisins, pine nuts and orange marmalade.
