There are several spaces within the building that allow for all types of events, from festive drinks receptions to sit-down meals. The main dining room at Penelope’s is available for exclusive hire, offering you and your guests total privacy and dedicated service. Stylishly decorated with a cool ambience, up to 135 guests can be seated for a meal here, or 180 for a standing reception. The private dining room adjoining the restaurant is also available for exclusive hire if you’re a smaller group looking for a memorable Christmas meal. This room can seat up to 18 guests, and is decorated with soft lighting and carefully curated furnishings.
For a lively drinks reception, take a look at the Amano bar which is available for hire seven days a week, perfect for a corporate festive celebration. The bar offers a moody ambience, with velvet booths, unique décor and a feature fireplace. 160 standing guests can be accommodated for a drinks reception, or 100 can be seated for a meal. There is also a rooftop bar that boasts unbeatable views of the London skyline, for a festive event with real wow-factor.
In terms of the catering, your event couldn’t be in better hands. AMANO’s co-founder grew up between Tel Aviv and Southern Spain, and the menu reflects this fusion immaculately. Examples of canapes include truffled artichoke en croute with chestnuts, honeyed pear crostini with walnut and brie, and smoked salmon blinis with chive and cream cheese. While more relaxed bowl food options feature anchovy fritti with sage and lemon, or pork belly with cranberry and peppercorn sauce.
