Goodman Canary Wharf is also offering a special Christmas lunch menu this year, available from the end of November and throughout December.
For a smaller festive bash with up to eight people, its dedicated private dining room is a great option. This modern American-style steakhouse boasts red leather chairs, a butcher’s-style table and large floor-to-ceiling windows which offer excellent views of the water. This space can also be adapted to suit larger groups too. Simply open the sliding doors into the main dining room, for parties of up to 30.
Goodman Canary Wharf is offering a three-course Christmas lunch menu, whether you simply want to enjoy a festive meal in the main restaurant, or are celebrating with colleagues or friends. Starters include warm smoked duck with clementine, chicory, Chardonnay, walnuts and coriander cress, or clams with shallots and bacon. For main course, opt for a signature Goodman steak, featuring Irish ribeye, charred hispi cabbage, and hand cut chips. There are options for fish lovers and veggies too: think halibut with roast celeriac and king oyster mushrooms, and crispy quinoa with spiced heritage beans, lemon ‘cheese’ and green beans. For dessert, there’s bitter chocolate cake with prunes and Armagnac, or cheese with truffle and crisp bread.
To drink, choose from a range of signature cocktails, such as a Popcorn Old Fashioned featuring popcorn and butter infused buffalo trace, angostura bitters and toffee popcorn. While the extensive wine list includes wines by coravin, by the glass or bottle, as well as a dedicated selection sourced from California.
