Christmas parties at Aamcha offer an alternative to the traditional festive dinner, with generous Indian sharing feasts, cocktails and a colourful setting in the heart of Radlett. Groups can book a shared celebration for up to 30 guests or take over the restaurant exclusively, with space for up to 50 seated or 70 standing.
For the festive season, Aamcha offers a choice of family-style banquets at three different price points, making it easy to choose an option to suit the group and budget. Rather than everyone ordering individually, dishes arrive on sharing platters for the whole table, with plates refilled freely throughout the evening.
Starters might include crispy okra, chipotle tandoori paneer and Oriental-style chilli chicken, followed by a spread of curries and larger dishes. Jackfruit biryani, chicken masala, saag paneer and five-spiced aubergine are among the options, accompanied by basmati rice, naan, mint and pomegranate raita, poppadoms and pickles. Festive signature dishes can add a more traditional celebratory centrepiece, with choices such as Goan roast turkey, duck breast or black roasted leg of lamb. Desserts continue the seasonal theme with options including homemade chai-spiced apple pie, mango kulfi and fresh mango tart.
Aamcha’s eclectic interiors lend themselves well to a relaxed Christmas party, with colourful furniture, a pink feature wall, India-inspired artwork, abundant greenery and atmospheric lighting. There are also outdoor areas at both the front and rear of the restaurant, including a decked terrace with tables and chairs.
Drink packages can be arranged to include beer, wine, Prosecco and soft or hot drinks. Aamcha’s regularly changing list of experimental cocktails, including their aged spiced negronis and passiontinis, adds another option for festive celebrations, whether you’re planning a work Christmas party or a seasonal get-together with friends and family.
