The boutique hotel is nestled within the pretty village of Sparkwell, just on the edge of Plymouth. Originally, a Victorian manor house, the building is a gorgeous example of period architecture and has retained many of its original features, having been built 1849. Today, the hotel is a family-run affair with a tight-knit team with years of experience in wedding planning between them.
Welbeck Manor and Golf is available for exclusive hire and boasts not only beautiful rooms indoors, but 55 acres surrounding the hotel, too. The team have put together a selection of packages for couples to choose from depending on the time of year. Generally speaking, though, you can expect to enjoy complimentary use of the bridal suite on the night of the wedding, your own wedding planner and use of decorations such as a welcome easel, centre piece vases filled with fairy lights and a wedding cake knife.
All catering is provided in house and the chefs are dedicated to creating seasonal menus which hero fresh, local ingredients. Your wedding package includes both a welcome drink and canapes, as well as a three-course sit-down meal, half a bottle of wine and a prosecco to toast, to ensure guests are fed and watered. Plus, come evening, and there'll be a hot evening buffet, too,
Total capacity stands at 50 people across the ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening disco, with 12 recently-renovated double rooms available to book out, providing 22 guests with luxurious accomodation for the evening.
