Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner has married pop hunk Joe Jonas in a surprisingly budget ceremony in Las Vegas.
The low-key nuptials took place at The Little White Wedding Chapel in Vegas, which was made famous in 2004 when Britney Spears married her childhood sweetheart there for a grand total of 55 hours.

The young couple’s wedding took place directly after the Billboard Music Awards and was far from the glamorous affair that we’ve come to expect from celebrity weddings. In true Sin City style, the ceremony was presided over by an Elvis impersonator, and after saying “I do”, the newlyweds posed for pictures on top of a 1950s pink Cadillac.

The couple, who have been dating since 2016, also swapped out traditional gold bands for edible sweetie rings, which Turner playfully licked when the Elvis impersonator asked her to “kiss the ring”.
The intimate, but star-studded guest list included DJ Diplo and Joe’s famous brothers (and bandmates) Nick and Kevin, while Nick’s actress wife Priyanka Chopra acted as Sophie’s maid of honour. The relaxed set-up lies in stark contrast to Nick and Priyanka’s own extravagant wedding in December 2018, which was a traditional Indian ceremony that lasted across four days.

Jonas has previously expressed that he would wed Turner in France, so it’s possible that the couple will host a second, more formal ceremony at a later date.
