Located in the heart of the City of London, The Inner Temple is a historic institution that makes a truly unique wedding venue. The private estate offers a serene oasis for your big day. Enter through the cobbled lane and you’ll be greeted by a stunning red-brick Georgian-style façade, while the immaculate grounds provide a beautiful backdrop for wedding photographs. Every wedding at The Inner Temple is unique, and your experienced wedding manager will work with you in the lead-up to your day to bring your vision to life.
On the first floor, four elegant rooms can be hired alongside the venue’s outdoor spaces. Choose from its licensed ceremony rooms, depending on whether you’d like to stay in one space throughout the day or move between rooms. The Hall is its most opulent space, with a triple-height ceiling, oak-panelled walls and stained-glass windows. Up to 250 guests can be accommodated for a ceremony, or 276 for a wedding breakfast. More intimate ceremonies take place in the Parliament Chamber or Luncheon Room, which accommodate 150 and 50 guests respectively.
If you’ve been dreaming of an al fresco wedding, the award-winning Garden at The Inner Temple offers a stunning setting. Available for hire from May to mid-July, it is licensed for civil ceremonies, allowing you to exchange vows surrounded by its beautifully maintained grounds. For a four-week period from mid-June to mid-July, Pavilion at The Inner Temple provides a dedicated garden structure with capacity for up to 600 standing guests. Also licensed for civil ceremonies, Pavilion can be used for part of your wedding day alongside the main building, offering additional space and flexibility for your celebrations.
Several wedding packages are available to suit different budgets. All include exclusive hire of the first-floor rooms, a three-course set menu and drinks, alongside details such as a PA system with microphone, staffing and security.
