About The Grand Pier

Proudly 'tide' the knot at one of Weston-super-Mare’s best attractions! The Grand Pier is a unique British venue located a quarter of a mile out to sea, guaranteeing stunning sea views and a jaw-dropping backdrop to your big day. It’s almost guaranteed to be unlike anything you or your guests have ever experienced before.

The Grand Pier boasts an array of picture-perfect and licensed spaces for your wedding, whether you're after something small and intimate, or a large space for a lavish celebration. The Regency Suite is a large and airy venue situated on the top floor, with its own private entrance, lift access and an exclusive bar for up to 230 guests.

Located at the furthest point out to sea, The Tiffany Room is a beautifully decorated room with exceptional sea views. Featuring Edwardian-inspired interiors and panoramic views of the sea, it's one of the most romantic venue hire options at The Grand Pier. You can book this space for a wedding breakfast and evening celebrations for up to 150 guests. It's also fully licensed for civil wedding ceremonies should you wish to tie the knot here.

For smaller gatherings, look to The North Tower. This space boasts a private entrance and floor-to-ceiling views of the shoreline, with space for up to 24 guests. You can use this space for an intimate civil ceremony or wedding breakfast. Finally, if you'd like to host a large celebration, The Great Hall is a magnificent space able to accommodate up to 650 guests.

Once married, newlyweds and their guests can capture vibrant photographs in the amusement park, providing a unique backdrop for colourful and personality-filled images. Brides can also enjoy complimentary use of its Bridal Suite, situated at the Pier's highest peak, ensuring comfort and relaxation while preparing for the big day.

A team of on-site chefs can provide elegant canapes and a delicious wedding breakfast for you and your guests. Additionally, a buffet is available for dining later on in the evening. While the team are able to provide a sample menu for your perusal, your designated wedding coordinator well help you customise this to suit your preferences.

The Grand Pier offers a wealth of wedding packages to choose from, as well as the option to create something totally bespoke that caters to your every preference and budget.

The Great Hall is the largest event space we provide, and can be transformed from its daily arcade and award-winning attraction into a unique venue space, perfect for large corporate events or dazzling gala dinners. With the ability to hold 800 people theatre style or 650 people banquet style, the room offers a large enough space for a stage and provisions to enhance sound and lighting, making any large scale event achievable and truly outstanding.

The North Tower is located on the top floor of The Grand Pier and is the perfect setting to cater for a smaller number of guests. With private entrance and floor to ceiling views of the shoreline, this semi-circular room is suitable for any meeting or team building day, or can be transformed into the perfect space for a civil ceremony or small wedding breakfast.

Captain Jacks Bar

The bar is a fun, pirate-themed venue situated on the south side of the Grand Pier overlooking Brean Down. The bar offers an extensive selection of beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails, ensuring that there’s something for everyone to enjoy. What an amazing day for my daughter's wedding! The events team were amazing and put us all at ease, making the day relaxing and fabulous all around. My daughter chose a late time for the wedding, meaning the team had a very small window to change the room around for the evening. The registrars were late due to traffic, and even though this was not ideal due to the tight change in room from ceremony to meal, you would have never known, as they worked their magic wand took it all in their stride and made the room absolutely stunning, both ceremony and meal decorations. The happy couple had the most amazing day, and many guests commented on what a beautiful venue and backdrop for photos. I could not recommend the pier more highly; the food was amazing, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Thank you to the wonderful team for what was a truly magical day. Five stars all around from us!

The wedding was incredible, it was all the little things, like the card and Mr & Mrs Gonks left for us, my girls, my mother and I loved the bridal suite for getting ready in, you got my grandmother a blanket and offered her a hot drink because she was cold, dealing with our music, liaising with photographers and ensuring all the turn around points went smoothly. I know I provided the decorations but you put it all together and it looked stunning. When the flower arch was delivered I realised the batteries for the lights had run out and you must have put new batteries in because they were on and working for the ceremony. At the end of the day we didn’t have to worry about anything apart from tipsily making our way back to the hotel, you made it easy for us to come back the following day and collect everything that you had carefully packed up for us. Another surprise was that you had kept the top tier of our cake for us to take home, I was so pleased because with all the dancing I forgot to eat any, so we took a few slices on honeymoon with us to have with a cuppa. I can honestly say our wedding will be lovingly reflected on for some time to come, it brought a lot of joy to a lot of people, everyone said it will be remembered for how beautiful, fun and unique it was and also the obvious love and connection Matt and I have for each other. Thank you with all our hearts to all The Grand Pier staff involved in our wedding, we are so very grateful you were our coordinator.
