I wish we could give 10 stars to Shires Oast as a venue for getting married!!James, Jennifer and the rest of the team could not have done more for us if they'd tried! They were patient, caring, incredibly accommodating and did everything possible to make sure that our day went perfectly - which it did.The venue was stunning, and being able to have the outside and inside for our sole use was wonderful. We got married under the willow tree, but inside was also set up for us in case the weather turned.The food was wonderful - a buffet when our guests arrived, a BBQ outside in the sunshine and chip butties and tea and coffee in the evening to keep our guests going through the disco.We also hired a Ceilidh band for the afternoon which was immense fun and there was more than enough room for people who wanted to join in and those who just wanted to watch.One of the things we really liked was that both the bridal party and the groom's party both had a dedicated are to get ready in, rather than it just being all about me (the bride.)If you are looking for somewhere to get married, I really cannot recommend Shires Oast enough!

We had our wedding here on 3rd October. Penny, James and Sophie were amazing throughout. Penny initially showed us round shires last year and helped us plan everything, nothing was too much trouble and unlike most other venues we looked at who tried to encourage us to exceed our budget, Penny helped us stay well within it We had mentioned to Penny a while ago that our favourite drink was thatchers blood orange and on the day the fridge was fully stocked with it which was a lovely touch. We couldn't recommend shires enough not just for weddings but for any event, they truly will go above and beyond to make sure you have the perfect day.

A superb venue in a beautiful location. We visited for the first time for the summer party at the end of August. We had a lovely time, enjoying the picturesque oast house setting and delightful grounds and accommodation. We were made to feel very welcome, with excellent hospitality and entertainment throughout the day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend highly for weddings and other special celebrations.
