If you have booked a wedding with us, you have the option to book the whole previous day in order to get settled in the space. This is available for an extra fee and we would always double check with you before hiring out the previous day to any other enquiries.

We have very limited parking next to the Refectory but we can reserve up to four spaces for your suppliers adjacent to the building. Please set us know in advance should you need this. There is limited on street parking for your guests on Marshall Street or Water Lane. The nearest car park is Leeds Train Station which is around a ten minute walk from the venue.

Unfortunately, due to the listed nature of the Old Flax Store, Refectory & Chapter Hall, there are no lift facilities.

Yes, we have a list of recommended suppliers that we work with regularly. If you engage a supplier that is not on this list please ensure you tell them that the space is on the second floor with no access to a lift and caterers would not have access to the onsite kitchen. We can provide a designated space adjacent to the building and a power supply.

We require a 20% deposit to secure your booking as well as a completed and returned booking form. The remaining 80% is due a week before your event.

While we have a fully stocked bar upstairs at the Chapter Hall, we do allow alcohol to be brought into the venue for a corkage fee. All alcohol not accounted for by this fee will be confiscated. Alternatively, you can choose to put a tab behind our bar and we will add 10% value to help it go further on the night.

We are a dog friendly venue and love our four legged friends! Dogs must always be supervised and please use caution if there will be loud music.

Usually, we call last orders at 23:30 and ask that the room is clear by 00:15 but we can extend this by an hour for a fee.

We can provide a PA system with a pair of microphones for audio and a ceiling mounted projector.
