The venue is fully licensed and has two impressive wedding ceremony options. The venue’s Gold Room boasts a 50-ft long aisle and a unique 18-carat gold ceiling. Alternatively, couples who want to marry outside surrounded by nature can make use of the venue’s bandstand, a unique outdoor ceremony area that is found within the tranquil gardens.

Seating up to 77, the stunning Gold Room affords every bride a befitting entrance, thanks to its 50-foot-long aisle, spectacular ornate 18-carat gold leaf ceiling, period fireplace and huge stained glass windows. To top things off, the room is complete with an elegant aisle mirror making it the perfect place to say, ‘I do’.

The Bandstand

Ceremony Capacity: 80

On warmer days, the Bandstand is the perfect place to enjoy the picturesque grounds and surroundings of Holmewood Hall, with your ceremony taking place with the hall providing the perfect backdrop. Guests can watch from the lawn as you say your vows and take in the manicured gardens and imposing characterful mansion.

The attentive and knowledgeable staff give potential clients the peace of mind they need to know that their event will be appropriately handled. Consistent communication provided a worry-free experience while in the throes of stressful wedding planning. A classic country home with intricate details that transport guests to a different time, engrossing them in an Austenian-Esque experience. Ivy trailing across the walls and windows, twinkling with candlelight, set the scene for a romantic fairytale that's about to unfold. 15 rooms of varying themes provide a combination of comfort and aesthetic to guests who have the assurance of a worry-free night following their celebrations. Guests raved about the meal and the accommodations for dietary restrictions they received. The selections were varied but equal in their quality. Drinks waiters and bar staff ensured that no glass remained empty and that all guests had the chance to enjoy whatever beverage they pleased. Laura was absolutely a dream to work with. She met all of my needs and exceeded my expectations. I didn't have to lift a finger on the wedding day! Keep up the amazing work. If I could relive my wedding day ten times over, I would still choose Holmewood each time.

The house is stunning, very grand and elegant! You really feel transported to a stunning Stately home that can be all yours for the day! The grounds are really gorgeous and well-maintained. The whole team were always really responsive, helpful and gave clear information, quoting before we booked our wedding. Our Personal Wedding Manager, Jenna, was incredible, always responded as soon as she could, answered all our questions and was always accommodating of our more interesting ideas! Went above and beyond to make it such a special time. We also loved being able to attend a dinner date and experience the service and how it would feel on the day. This gave us all the feels and got us excited for the wedding. We felt completely reassured! It was also great to meet some couples who had already got married, so we could hear their experience. The team on the wedding day were INCREDIBLE! The entire team were outstanding, from start to finish, the care and attention that went into making our day so special was just amazing, each one of the team was brilliant! The wedding breakfast was delicious and presented well, very happy! Also, the guests were really complimentary of the food.
