The lake house, accomodation for 18 people and, of course, the 100 acres of incredible countryside spanning out from the house is all yours for at least two nights, or more if you should so wish. When you first arrive, the events team will ensure that you're taken care of and can arrange an afternoon tea and evening meal for you and your guests, chosen from the buffet menu. As the evening continues, test out the hot tubs and swimming pool with 360 views of the lake. You can even book yourself in for a treatment such as a relaxing massage, thanks to the woodland-based spa, which also has a sauna and salt scrub.
On your big day, enjoy breakfast with your wedding party before holding your ceremony in the Lake House or outside with gorgeous views. Gilpin offers a four-course wedding breakfast with a capacity of up to 60 people made by Michelin-trained chefs, so your guests are sure to be well fed. There are lots of beautiful spots to take wedding photos such as on a romantic rowing boat out on the lake, or simply use the natural beauty all around as your backdrop. If you'd prefer a more intimate celebration, Gilpin also offers a carefully curated wedding day for just two to six people, in a smaller area with a special supper for just your nearest and dearest.
