About

Nestled in the rolling hills of the South Downs and overlooking the sea, Devil’s Dyke Farm is one of Sussex’s most picturesque and atmospheric wedding venues. This family-run working farm blends rustic countryside charm with coastal beauty, offering a truly unique setting for couples seeking a relaxed yet unforgettable celebration.

Devil’s Dyke Farm is fully licensed for legal ceremonies and provides all the essentials for a smooth celebration, including bridal changing facilities, on-site parking, an alcohol licence and a late-night extension. Available for exclusive hire, the venue gives couples access to 340 acres of private land in total seclusion. Ceremonies can take place in the walled garden - a peaceful, secluded spot adorned with festoon lighting and surrounded by greenery. With wooden chairs arranged beneath a simple arch and the countryside as your backdrop, it’s a stunning space to exchange vows before guests gather for drinks on the lawn.

The farm’s permanent marquee - complete with fairy lights, a glittering disco ball and long banquet tables - makes a striking setting for dinner and dancing. Open-sided walls offer panoramic views of the fields and coastline, creating a romantic, light-filled atmosphere and a dreamlike backdrop for photos. Catering is completely flexible: choose silver service, laid-back barbecues, hog roasts or wood-fired pizzas, with the option to use the in-house team or external caterers. There’s also on-site accommodation for close family and friends, including a four-bedroom farmhouse and a cosy log cabin.

Just five miles from Brighton city centre and a 10-minute drive from Brighton Station, it’s a surprisingly convenient location for guests travelling in for the day. Home to over 160 cattle, horses, chickens, guinea fowl and an emu named Errol, this characterful venue combines relaxed, rural charm with coastal elegance - a perfect blank canvas for the wedding day of your dreams.

Testimonials for Devil's Dyke Farm

Amazing wedding venue!SEPTEMBER, 2025

We had our wedding at Devils Dyke farm in June and couldn’t have asked for a better venue. The views were stunning and our guests commented on how special it felt. There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the day fully. The lighting and dance floor created the perfect atmosphere for a great party.Mike and Lindsay were fantastic hosts - always available, flexible and supportive. We highly recommend this venue!

Absolutely incredible!SEPTEMBER, 2025

Mike and Lindsey are simply incredible! They were just so nice throughout the process and made the wedding planning much less stressful. They are super super helpful and will even learn how to do cocktails just for your party. The venue has the most amazing views and the perfect outside ceremony area. They also have loots of things already there, so you would be covered for chairs, tables, arch, and even decorations! They offered to do a wine tasting as well, so we could choose which wines we wanted for the wedding and we had a great time. We were so so happy we chose their venue, because it was a massive part of making our day the most perfect one. We would recommend it to everyone 100%!!
