Tucked away in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside, Crazy Bear Stadhampton is one of the most unique wedding venues around thanks to its eclectic styling, varied spaces, and extravagant feel. Within the grounds, there are a variety of spaces suitable for everything from lavish celebrations over a weekend, or micro weddings with just your nearest and dearest. The experienced team will be on hand to ensure all details are catered to, so you can just relax and enjoy your special day.
The Glasshouse, situated at the edge of the gardens at Crazy Bear, is a highly popular choice if you’d prefer to keep your ceremony, reception, and evening celebrations in one place. This versatile area is comprised of a private cocktail bar with a 1am license, two lounges, a DJ booth, a checkered dance floor, and a private terrace with a heated patio. There's a state-of-the-art sound system throughout the space, and up to 200 guests can be accommodated for a ceremony (though there's no limit on al fresco I dos) and 250 for an evening reception. However, if you require further capacity, a high-spec marquee with glass panels and carpeted floor can be added to seamlessly extend the space for breakfasts of up to 400 and receptions with 500.
If you’ve always dreamed of an outdoor wedding, the gardens at Crazy Bear make for a flamboyant and unique setting with quirky decor and lush greenery at every turn. Within the gardens, there is a tropical garden, terrace, and woodland space, so you can find the picture-perfect spot for your wedding photographs too. Exclusive hire is also an option.
Micro weddings are best at home in the Log Cabin, a cosy wood-panelled room with deer antler chandeliers, and gilt framed artwork. This area seats just ten for ceremonies, or 14 for wedding breakfasts. Catering is provided in-house and can be tailored to suit your requests, from canapes and formal dining to banquets, buffets, barbecues and spit roasts.
