Placed in one of the most sought after areas of the City, Wagamama Hampstead is the ideal place to go for a quick lunch or evening meal. Serving up Japanese cuisine with a mix of pan-Asian influences throughout, the extensive exciting menu, cool vibe and reasonable price is one of the many reasons Wagamama has become so popular on the high-street today.

Go for one of the classic dishes they are most known for like a chilli chicken ramen, or katsu curry. Made in a range of different variations, the katsu curry is available for both vegans and vegetarians. Made with the option of seitan or veggies to replace the chicken, everyone can enjoy this mild curry classic.

As well as curry and ramen dishes, the teppanyaki noodle dishes are also worth giving a try. From simple dishes like chicken and prawn yaki soba, to more complex and exciting ones like the cod mokutan soba with black charcoal noodles, this menu is full of surprises among the dishes you’d typically expect from Wagamama.

To accompany your main dish, or to get you warmed up for your bigger dishes, go for one of the many side dishes on offer. Made for sharing, order a few different dishes to get a taste for as many as you can. Try the ebi katsu, crispy fried prawns, steamed or fried gyoza or duck wraps before you tuck into you main meal.

Drinks-wise you can opt for something off the large selection of Japanese beers or Sake to keep things authentic. Or if you fancy  a healthy treat to accompany your somewhat indulgent main meal, the freshly squeezed juices that come in a range of flavours including, carrot, blueberry spice and orange.  

Wagamama is also very child friendly, with an extensive menu to keep even the fussiest of children happy. With mini versions of the classic adult dishes, including mini katsu and ramen, they can eat the same thing as you just in a smaller portion and without the food waste. Also on this menu you’ll find the likes of crispy fish bites with amai or curry sauce, and an ice lolly or scoop of ice-cream to finish off their mini feast.

With so many options for both kids and adults, as well as it catering to a range of dietary requirements, Wagamama really does have something for everyone to enjoy.
