Housed in a Grade II listed former bank on the Cadogan Estate, The Trafalgar Public House is an iconic Chelsea pub on King’s Road. In October 2025, it unveiled a £2.4 million transformation, becoming the first new pub built on the King’s Road in over a century.
Spread across two floors, The Trafalgar blends timeless elegance with modern hospitality. Upstairs, soaring five-metre ceilings, Georgian windows and ornate plasterwork frame a handsome interior of leather dining chairs, vintage artwork and oversized chandeliers. It’s a space designed for everything from casual pints to three-course dinners, with a menu of elevated British pub fare and a standout cheese and ham toastie.
Downstairs, the mood shifts. A hidden bar, antique mirrored ceiling and state-of-the-art sound system set the stage for late-night revelry. Expect a curated programme of live music, cabaret and comedy, including weekly stand-up from the award-winning Always Be Comedy.
The Trafalgar is the tenth venue from Three Cheers founders Tom Peake, Mark Reynolds and Nick Fox, whose portfolio includes The Avalon, The Bedford and The Latchmere. Their latest venture continues the tradition of creating warm, welcoming spaces that serve as true community hubs.
Whether you’re dropping in for a glass of English sparkling wine, settling in for Sunday lunch, or staying late for the DJ, The Trafalgar promises a refined yet relaxed experience that captures the spirit of Chelsea. With its rich history, bold entertainment offering and beautifully restored interiors, it’s set to become a new landmark for locals and visitors alike.
