Took my lovely wife out for her birthday meal - food was amazing - Definitely a must visit for all.

The compasses used to be a wonderful traditional country pub new management have arrivred and unfortunatly ruined it its now some kind of horrible indian themed place with no atmosphere no customers and poor service in fact the only thing that greets you is the stench of 3rd rate indian cooking its awful not what you want at all from a traditional village pub !! Im not supprised its empty the quicker this management team move on the better and maybe folk who know what people want from a pub like this can replace them !!!

This is a fantastic spot for work lunches with great value for money. 2 courses for £18 with some delicious thai food where can you go wrong? You enter through the main door of the pub and go straight upstairs to the smarter more fitting setting of the restaurant, being someone that had been to the pub for after work drinks I was really surprised. If your looking for an informal lunch/dinner in Farringdon that isn't too far from the station this is the place for you the food is delicious and won't let you down.
