Amazing experience coming to the Red Lion,
Lovely food, the price compared to the quality of food was very good considering everything was prepared fresh and tasted amazing.
Service was impeccable and we felt very welcome here!
The Red Lion truly stands out from the crowd when it comes to exceptional dining. Every visit has been consistently impressive, with food that never fails to exceed expectations. It’s easy to see why the pub has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes and earned its place in the Michelin Guide—both thoroughly well deserved.
What makes it even more special is the clear focus on quality and provenance. Much of the produce is grown on site, and there’s a strong emphasis on using fresh, local Isle of Wight ingredients, which really shines through in every dish.
The experience is made all the better by the welcoming and attentive staff, who create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere from the moment you arrive.
All in all, The Red Lion offers a standout dining experience that combines top-quality food, local pride, and genuine hospitality. A place we’ll continue returning to without hesitation.
