About

If you haven't yet heard of Jim & Tonic East, you're in for a real treat. This venue sits on the banks of the river in East London's Stratford and as well as chilled vibes and killer views, boasts a trio of spaces which make up this multi-hyphen venue.

Across the site you'll find a three-storey events space called The Rum House, an outdoor terrace and on-site distillery, as well as a modern-fusion bar and restaurant, known as The Print House. It's quite literally the place to be. And, while each space has its own je ne sais quoi, The Print House is great for small plates, sharing platters and delicious pizzas - perfect for summer afternoons or after work get-togethers.

The menu is extremely versatile, offering a mix of crowd pleasers, smaller bites ideal for sharing and hearty dishes for those who have come hungry. For example, you could start with a mix of snacks for the table, choosing between Maldon oysters, salt and pepper squid, a British cheese plate or Cobble Lane charcuterie. Starters look like gin cured Scottish salmon with fennel, crème fraiche, lemon and dill, as well as chicken liver parfait served with red onion jam and grilled sourdough.

If you're in the market for a main course, we like the sound of the Gloucester Old Spot pork chop with tender-stem broccoli and green peppercorn sauce, while the likes of potato and polenta gnocchi. with basil pesto, purple sprouting broccoli and oven dried tomatoes makes for a yummy-sounding vegetarian option. The kitchen offers five pizza options which are cooked fresh on site and smothered with toppings like tomato, mozzarella, salami and fresh basil.

Another fun fact about The Print House is that throughout the summer you can expect an events programme full of live DJs as well as ping-pong and a bus bar, too.
