The Lazy Otter

Haven't been for a few years. Was now under new ownership andkept being recommend on my village Facebook page. So we booked a table.  

Menu was somewhat limited compared to others. Various options were crossed out. Once ordered twenty minutes later an different person came back to say two options my friend had ordered where now out of stock.  When order arrived the steak option was served with two different types of chips, without consultation as they had run out of mushrooms. 

Music not relaxing. And although we initially checked that the bill could be split three ways very grumpy lady informed us that this was not possible.  Will not be returning for at least another few years. Such a shame 

I took my family to this place as a treat for my wires birthday. The food was poor quality to say the least, my daughters pasta was clearly fresh from the microwave and covered in an oily film, my wifes ham had more gristle than meat, and the manager was the most dismissive person I have ever experienced. When I complained he just said “no” and walked off. In short if you want poor food delivered with a dash of poor service then this is the place for you.
