About

The Haven is the only bar and restaurant with a wraparound view of the Solent and the picturesque Isle of Wight hills. Experience the finest in local produce, expertly cooked and served with a warm smile. Whether you're seeking a morning coffee, evening meal with all your loved ones, or a warming post walk hot chocolate, Helen and her dedicated team are here to impress you with drinks and delicious meals every day of the week, throughout the year. The menu is a celebration of seafood, featuring a robust commitment to locally sourced ingredients, and with a focus on simplicity and exquisite flavours, the all day dining options ensure there's something for everyone to enjoy.

From the menu, indulge in a selection ranging from fresh seafood and delicious sharing boards to cherished classics at The Haven. The menu changes with the seasons, introducing delicious specials that showcase prime ingredients from the restaurant’s local shores and the finest producers, growers, and brewers in the vicinity. At The Haven, the warm welcome extends to doggy companions, gladly welcoming four legged friends on the terrace and in the bar and snug areas. You'll also discover water bowls on the terrace and delightful dog treats waiting at the bar.

The main menu starts with bites like la marinara olives and Jersey oysters with shallot vinegar and lemon. Sharing dishes include the baked camembert with crusty bread, and the salmon platter of hot and cold smoked salmon. Starters include the black pudding and cheddar croquettes with applesauce and rocket, and the roasted beetroot, chestnut, red onion and goats cheese salad. For your main, order the classic French stew, bouillabaisse, served with fresh crusty bread and rouille, or the kerala fish curry with king prawns, mussels, cod cheeks and rice.
