About

The Bradley Hare is an idyllic countryside pub with rooms, ticking all the boxes across style, luxury, comfort and gastro kudos, situated in Warminster, Wiltshire. Part of the Beckford group, this hospitality brand's portfolio already includes well known and loved names such as The Talbot Inn and the Lord Poulett Arms. At The Bradley Hare, the concept is rooted in sustainable, seasonal, local fare with a kitchen led by Chef Jaek Kelly offering lunch, dinner and, crucially, Sunday roasts that shouldn't be missed.

While dishes change with the seasons, on the main menu starters might look like venison terrine with fruit toast or a portion of Devilled kidneys with fried slice. If traditional pub food is what you're hankering for, cast your eye over the gammon chop with Fenton farm egg and salt baked pineapple, or perhaps the fish pie with curry spice, haddock, trout, mussels and quail eggs which sounds warmingly wholesome. Or, move over the mains section where the team flexes their creativity. Think Duroc pork porterhouse with rhubarb and madeira sauce, alongside Cornish sole with curry butter. Sides will not dissapoint either: we like the sound of the Pagget’s carrots with Somerset feta and spiced seeds and we wouldn't be kicking the Tunworth mash with crispy onions off the table, either.

Finally, if you're not stuffed enough, puddings such as malt chocolate with crème fraiche and hazelnuts or a seasonal rhubarb trifle really ought to be tried. We also love the 'not quite full' section - a final flourish with temptations like affogato done the Beckford way, with Beckford rum, salted caramel ice cream, espresso and fairings.

As for character and soul, The Bradley Hare has plenty of both. There's the two resident hounds, Pepper and Frank, who love to be petted. And, the gorgeous interiors do a lot for making the space feel homely, too. Rich green walls, on-trend wooden panelling, rustic wooden furniture and considered artworks all feel design led, but in a relaxed way. There's also a selection of stylish rooms upstairs, in case you're too stuffed to make it home.
