About

The Bay Horse in Skipton is a country pub oozing rural charm and rustic character. Our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar.

Whether you are planning dinner with friends or Sunday lunch with family, book a table online and enjoy some quality time with those you love the most.

The first records of the Bay Horse date back to 1822, at that time it was occupied by a Mr William Mawson, when the population of Bradley consisted of only 506 people. By the 1860's when Bradley became industrialised, The Bay Horse quenched the thirsts of workers from the local spinning and weaving mills.

This fine country inn is perfect for walkers, having a lovely location in the picturesque village of Bradley by the banks of the Leeds Liverpool Canal. Skipton Woods nearby is managed by The Woodland Trust.
