Located on Parsons Green Lane, Stubby’s is a neighbourhood café, sandwich shop, deli and wine bar from childhood friends Oli Man and Greg Weaver, the team behind Bermondsey’s These Days Bar & Kitchen. Drawing on years spent working across London and Sydney’s hospitality scenes, the duo have created an all-day venue inspired by the relaxed, quality-driven café culture of Australia and New Zealand, where good food, great coffee and a welcoming atmosphere go hand in hand.
Coffee plays a central role at Stubby’s, with beans supplied by renowned Australasian roaster Allpress Espresso. Expect a menu that covers café classics such as flat whites, cortados and cold brew alongside a rolling selection of seasonal specials. Whether you're grabbing a takeaway coffee on the way to work or settling in for a slower start to the day, the emphasis is on consistency, quality and friendly service.
The food menu is built around head chef Greg Weaver’s long-standing obsession with sandwiches. Prepared fresh each day and available in half or full portions, the line-up showcases inventive flavour combinations and high-quality ingredients. Fillings range from shiso porchetta with kare sauce and smacked cucumber to tempura aubergine with black caramel, sugarsnaps and goat’s cheese. Alongside the sandwiches, guests can order seasonal salads, small plates, pickles and house-made snacks designed for sharing.
As the day progresses, Stubby’s shifts seamlessly from café to wine bar. The drinks list reflects the founders’ Australasian influences, featuring wines sourced from New Zealand and Australia, local beers, cocktails and a selection of bottled lagers. A carefully curated deli offering adds another dimension to the space, with homemade sauces, pickles, baked goods and pantry staples available to take home.
Combining the comfort of a neighbourhood hangout with the versatility of a café, deli and bar, Stubby’s is designed as a place to drop in at any time of day, whether for coffee, lunch, drinks or provisions for the week ahead.
